Ban polls is a feature of our bot that allows users to restrict (ban/mute) one another with polls. A user sends /banpoll as a reply to a user they want to restrict, LaserBot creates the poll and takes action based on the poll result and the settings
You should use ban polls very carefully. To prevent an instant disaster, the function has some limitations on the number of polls. The ideal use case for ban polls is private groups with many active members, because then results are stable and predictable. Public groups are also ok, but falsification of results becomes easier. An example of a risky use case might be a discussion group attached to a political channel.

Step 2 – configure ban polls
The only required parameter is Number of votes – it’s a minimum number of votes needed to make a vote valid. As my testing group is small, I’ll set it to 2, which means that only two votes required to carry out sentences.
Other parameters, such as Voting duration and Punishment, can remain as default. But, if you use ban polls for the first time, I recommend setting a minimum punishment. As a result, my settings look like this:
Step 3 – activate ban polls and the group
Don’t forget to activate the function and the group: the circles in headers should be green.
That’s all! Lets try it out
